it's december 22, three days before santa comes. but I haven't written anything about the december days that have passed. I'll try my best to recall everything I could.
so..here goes. *hithit ng hangin*
1. DECEMBER 3
...was Owen's birthday. Happy Birthday, former seatmate! Pasensya ka na kung ala akong gift sau. :D Happy Birthday!
2. DECEMBER 6
...was the Carol Fest eliminations. We really practiced hard for that day. Our songs were Ode to Joy which included its lyrics' [darn] German translation and Heto na Naman. Avo girls wore white skirts with white tops and peach and pink boleros for the sopranos and altos respectively. the boys wore white polos with black pants and a red sash studded with gold and silver stars...everyone looked nice. everyone gave their best shot. everyone...erm...
....we got eliminated.
well...`nuff said.
3. DECEMBER 7
...was the Carol Fest Finals for the sections who got through the eliminations, namely Becquerel, Curie and Darwin for batch 06. I must say that the 06 people really are very good, especially Becq and Darwin who got first and third place respectively.
this was also the day when we found out why we didn't get through the eliminations.
curse those german lyrics. curse those g********s [gelynne, marella, sing with me! G*******s, g*******s ni L*****a! wahaha.].
oh, well.
congratulations, becq and darwin! you deserve it! :D
4. DECEMBER 9-10
...were the day[s] of our retreat in the Divine Word Seminary in Tagaytay. We were all excited about it, and it was worth it. As we entered thelecture hall of the seminary, we immediately saw one of Father Arnold Janssen's busts [the statue that only shows the head down to the shoulders], which reminded us SHSians of our grade school days [hail to you, Father Janssen, the founder of three congregations]. we were asked to group ourselves into 6 for the room assignment. Dana, Natalie, Hazel B., Jamie and CJ were my room mates, and we were assigned to room 304. i really did enjoy myself though my head was painfully throbbing that night because of crying [and Jamie, that's why I slept really ahead of you guys]. thanks, Father for making me realize that I am a human time bomb, and that I am loved. :D
and I, for the rest of my life shall not forget these words that were professed by my own mouth [to that last person I would like to be stuck in an elevator with]:
"proud ako sayo kasi nakakayanan mo araw-araw ang mga problema mo."
well...I am trying my very best to shake these words from my head, you know.
5. DECEMBER 12
...was the day we went to Divisoria to shop for gifts. there were many cheap buys that really give meaning to the equimarginal principle. I saw Janica and Valerie Legaspi there, and according to many, there were many Scientians out bargain hunting that day in 168. cool.
and oh, I saw Korina Sanchez there, in the flesh. ahahaha.
6. DECEMBER 15
...was our Christmas party! yey! our last day of school that marks the start of the Christmas vacation. We arrived awfully early that day, but there were many people already. I gave out a lot of gifts, and recieved quite a lot too. ^^ most of them were earrings [i just love `em] and most of these beauties are stars. I also got a Paramita CD from Kim who picked me as her baby for the exchange gift! awwww...thanks, everyone, for the gifts. May God bless each one of you.
so that's about it!
this season, I give cheers for world peace.
Merry Christmas, everybody. :D
